Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif, on Sunday honored the security forces for their successful operation against Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists in District Lakki Marwat.
The PM expressed gratitude to the security forces for eliminating five terrorists during this operation.
He stated that, in line with the vision of Azm-i-Istehkam, the security forces are achieving significant victories against terrorism. Shehbaz Sharif stated, “The entire nation supports Pakistan’s armed forces in this battle against terrorism.”
He added, “We are resolute in our commitment to eradicate all forms of terrorism from the nation.”
Pak army achieves success in Ghazab lil-Haq operation
Earlier, the Pakistan Army successfully neutralised 684 terrorists during the Ghazab lil-Haq operation.
A total of 684 individuals were killed, over 912 sustained injuries, and 252 military posts were destroyed by the army.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, shared an update regarding the operation in a post on X.
He stated, “73 terrorists and locations supporting terrorism across Afghanistan were effectively targeted by air.”
“On the night of March 14/15, the Pakistan Armed Forces struck military installations, including the hideouts of the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij,” the minister added.
The Information Minister further stated, “In these operations, Pakistan’s forces also dismantled technical support infrastructure and storage facilities for equipment in Kandahar, which were being utilised by the Afghan Taliban and terrorists against innocent Pakistani civilians.”
