The British parliamentarian, Baroness Chapman, has praised the role of Pakistan in the peace deal between the US and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In the session of the UK House of Lords on June 15, several respected members of the British parliament praised the role of the Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, in establishing peace in the Middle East.
In response to Lord Barber of Chittlehampton for asking the parliament to congratulate PM Shehbaz for his efforts, Baroness Chapman said that Shehbaz Sharif has done a wonderful job and that he deserves recognition and appreciation.
She also admired the diplomatic efforts of PM Shehbaz for peace and dialogue between the US and Iran.
Baroness Chapman added that this peace deal will bring both of the nations closer in the coming future.
On the other hand, Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon also paid tribute to the leadership of Pakistan for their efforts to establish peace in the Middle East region.
He said that I believe that the minister and members of the House would appreciate the important role of Pakistan in the US-Iran peace deal.
He thanked the leaders of Pakistan and Qatar for their support and extensive efforts.
He said that their effective contributions to establishing peace in the region have helped a lot in maintaining peace between the two states.
Lord Ahmad, in Urdu, expressed his gratitude for Pakistan, saying: “Pakistan ka bohat bohat shukriya” (translation: Many many thanks to Pakistan).
