In a press conference with Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti today revealed that a woman radicalised and trained by Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan has been arrested.
Identified as Laiba, she reportedly disclosed details of her preparation for a suicide mission and the specific roles she had been assigned.
The arrested woman Laiba, revealed that she belongs to the Khuzdar district. In her own words she revealed that she was brainwashed to become a suicide bomber.
She further requested that every woman watching this not become part of any wrong activity and regret it later.
After this the Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said that Laiba’s story is now in front of everyone. He congratulated the security forces on their success.
The security forces were able to successfully take a 19-year old suicide bomberinto custory before it was too late. Due to this, many innocent lives were saved.
Laiba further revealed that she is from Tehsil Lehri in Khuzdar. The terrorists wanted her to recruit and prepare even more women for terrorism.
Laiba again repeated that she wants other girls to stay away from such activities. CM Balochistan further revealed that the security forces acted on human intelligence.
He then said that Afghanistan is a safe haven for terrorists.
The BLA commander Saleem Jan alias Dil Jan was in close contact with the arrested female. Laiba also facilitated TTP terrorist Ibrahim alias Qazi. BLA was joined by the accused in July 2025.
The CM Balochistan also said that people of Balochistan are being exploited by these terrorist organisations. He further said that the arrest exposed the narrative of BYC of missing persons.
He said that both the terrorist BLA and the BYC use kids and women as weapons.
