The Pakistan Social Centre located in Sharjah, recognised as one of the largest centers for the Pakistani community in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), announced on Thursday that families of Pakistani martyrs who lost their lives in the recent conflict will be provided with financial support.
Chaudhry Khalid Hussain, the president of the Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah, stated that each family of the deceased, including those of Mureed Zaman and Muzaffar Ali, will receive one million Pakistani rupees.
Hussain further mentioned that the financial aid will also contribute to the education of the children of all Pakistani martyrs who were killed in the UAE recently.
Hussain Mohammad, Pakistan’s Consul General in Dubai, expressed gratitude to the Pakistani community in the UAE for their solidarity and generosity, highlighting that expatriates have not forgotten the brave soldiers who have fallen.
The financial assistance will be distributed through the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai.
Pakistanis killed in UAE amid Iranian strikes
Earlier, two Pakistanis were killed in Dubai after drone and missile attacks in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
On Saturday, a Pakistani driver was killed when “debris from an aerial interception” fell onto a vehicle.
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif also expressed grief over the recent incidents, stating he was “deeply saddened by the tragic death of two Pakistani nationals in Dubai caused by missile debris”.
“Our diplomatic missions in the UAE are in close contact with the Dubai authorities to provide all necessary assistance and to facilitate the repatriation process. Our hearts go out to the bereaved family in this hour of grief,” he said in a post on X.
