Afghan nationals without visas deemed illegal
A spokesperson for the Home Department highlighted that, in line with the Government of Pakistan’s policy, all foreign nationals residing without valid visas are deemed illegal.
However, Afghan citizens with valid travel documents are permitted to live and work in the country legally.
The public is encouraged to report illegal residency, identity fraud, or any suspicious activities by contacting the emergency helpline 15.
To date, 842 complaints have been received and addressed, with the identities of informants kept strictly confidential.
Authorities assert that the ongoing campaign demonstrates the government’s dedication to upholding law enforcement, transparency, and effective monitoring throughout the province.
