UAE announces huge visa relief for Pakistanis

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has eased visa restrictions for Pakistani nationals during the current rising regional tensions, according to details on Sunday.

This is expected to open many new opportunities for work and investment. Many Pakistanis who had faced long waiting periods for visas are now entering Dubai and Abu Dhabi to join family businesses, start small businesses, or even seek employment.

The slowdown in parts of the Gulf economy has also led to lower prices for vehicles, property, and commercial assets, according to the reports.

This has allowed Pakistani investors to explore business opportunities at relatively lower costs.

Some experts have described the situation as a good chance for Pakistanis to get professional experience while markets remain affordable.

According to the details, the easing of visa rules has been influenced in part by changing regional conditions.

However, it has been advised that prospective workers and investors should act quickly.

This is because the current visa relaxations may not remain in place for long and could change depending on developments in the Middle East.

Italy Golden Visa for Pakistani passport holders

In a related development, interest has also grown among Pakistani nationals in Europe’s residency by investment schemes.

Italy’s Golden Visa, officially called the Investor Visa for Italy, offers a route to residency in Italy through qualifying financial investment.

Under the programme, successful applicants receive an initial two year residency permit, which can be renewed for an additional three years.

Over time, the scheme can lead to permanent residency and eventually citizenship. This is if the applicant continues to meet the legal requirements set by the Italian authorities.
