Sahir Ali Bagga says Indian music should be banned in Pakistan

Recently, Sahir Ali Bagga expressed his belief that Indian music should be banned in Pakistan. He further elaborated on this statement in a video on social media.

In discussing this matter, the singer said, “I have made a statement regarding the prohibition of Indian music or songs at Pakistani weddings because whenever a conflict arises, they promptly ban our artists, content, and other elements. For instance, Pakistani Spotify remains banned in India, while their Spotify operates freely in Pakistan. Therefore, if they impose such strict bans on us, our government should also respond by taking action against their content. We have never imposed a ban on their content; it has always been initiated from the Indian side.”

The majority of Pakistani fans are in agreement with Sahir Ali Bagga and are advocating for a ban on Indian music, while a minority believe that cultural exchange between the two countries is beneficial.
