The National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced to revise the toll tax rates for highways and motorways across Pakistan.
According to an official notification released by the department, the new toll rates will come into effect from April 5, 2026.
Increase in toll rates
There has been an increase in the toll rates as compared to the previous ones, as the new rates will be implemented for cars, wagons, buses and trucks.
National highways
For the national highways, car toll has been set at Rs100, while larger vehicles like articulated trucks will have to pay Rs700.
Bus and wagon will pay Rs300 and Rs200 respectively.
Kohat Tunnel (N-55)
For the Kohat Tunnel, car toll has been set at Rs250, while larger vehicles like articulated trucks will have to pay Rs1100.
Bus and wagon will pay Rs750 and Rs600 respectively.
IMDCW (E-75)
As for the E-75 route, car toll has been set at Rs300, while larger vehicles like articulated trucks will have to pay Rs1000.
Bus and wagon will pay Rs450 and Rs300 respectively.
Motorway toll tax increased
NHA has increased the tax rates for motorways as well.
The new rates will be implemented at the following main motorways: Islamabad-Peshawar (M-1), Lahore-Abdul Hakim (M-3), and Pindi Bhattian-Faisalabad-Multan (M-4).
The toll rate has also been increased for the following routes, including Multan-Sukkur (M-5), D.I Khan-Hakla (M-14), Hassanabdal-Havelian-Mansehra Expressway (E-35).
Islamabad-Peshawar (M-1)
Car toll has been set at Rs700, while larger vehicles like articulated trucks will have to pay Rs3300 while traveling at M-1 motorway.
Bus and wagon will pay Rs2050 and Rs1050 respectively.
Lahore-Abdul Hakim (M-3)
For M-3, car toll has been set at Rs1000, while larger vehicles like articulated trucks will have to pay Rs4900.
Bus and wagon will pay Rs3100 and Rs1500 respectively.
Pindi Bhattian-Faisalabad-Multan (M-4)
For the national highways, car toll has been set at Rs1300, while larger vehicles like articulated trucks will have to pay Rs6400.
Bus and wagon will pay Rs3950 and Rs1950 respectively.
