Attorney General Pam Bondi was fired by the US President Donald Trump on Thursday after being frustrated by her performance.

Trump was especially frustrated over how she handled the release of late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to sources, Trump felt that Bondi was not doing enough. She did not move quickly enough to prosecute critics and adversaries. He wanted his adversaries to face criminal charges.

The Justice Department will be temporarily led by Deputy Attorney General Blanche who was also a former personal lawyer to Trump.

In the social media post, Donald Trump said that Bondi is a “Great American Patriot and a loyal friend.” He also said that she had overseen a massive crackdown on crime.

The social media further revealed that Bondi will be moving to a job in the private sector.

In another social media Blanche praised Bondi and thanked Trump. He further said that he will keep backing the blue and keep America safe.

Bondi during her tenure as the top US law enforcement official was a combative champion of Trump’s agenda.

A longstanding tradition was broken by Bondi, who was being independent from the White House while conducting investigations.

However, the repeated criticism of her over the Epstein files that was done by Trump’s allies and many senior republican lawmakers led to her firing.

She was also accused of mismanaging or covering up the release of records on the DOJ’s sex-trafficking investigations into Epstein.

Jeffrey Epstein was a financier and cultivated ties with powerful figures and wealthy.

According to sources, Bondi was informed by Trump on Wednesday in a meeting in white house that he was going to replace her as attorney general.

Bondi was also told multiple times by US President Donald Trump that he was unhappy with her performance.
