Star batter Sahibzada Farhan from Multan Sultans delivered a match winning performance and scored an unbeaten century in the 11th edition of Pakistan Super League.
The young opening batsman achieved a significant milestone by equaling a T20 record held by Virat Kohli.
He is also moving closer to Babar Azam’s record.
Sahibzada was playing against Hyderabad Kingsmen when he scored an unbeaten 106 off 57 balls at the Gaddafi stadium.
His innings was made up of seven fours and eight sixes and marked his 9th century in the T20 cricket. This was his 166th match.

With this century, Shaibzada has equalled with Kohli in the number of T20 centuries. He now has the sixth most centuries in T20S in the world.
He has also reduced his gap with Babar Azam significantly who is second on the all-time list with 11 centuries.
Rilee Rossouw of South Africa also has nine centuries, though his mark was reached in 393 matches.
Multan Sultans were chasing a target of 226 and secured a victory with four wickets and eight balls remaining. The win was driven by Farhan’s outstanding innings.
His innings was supported by Steve Smith, who scored 46 and 29 runs were added by Shan Masood.
The case was finished by Farhan with Arafat Minhas who scored 26 runs on 11 balls
The Kinsgmen also tried, Saim Ayub took two wickets, but conceded 43 runs in 3 overs. Only 1 wicket was picked up by Hassan Khan and Maheesh Theeksana.
