Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to discuss the latest regional developments.
During the discussion, both leaders emphasised the urgent need for de-escalation to maintain peace and stability in the region. They also agreed to stay in close contact to monitor the evolving situation and coordinate diplomatic efforts.
The talks reflect continued engagement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on regional security issues and underscore the countries’ commitment to dialogue as a means of addressing tensions.
It is worth mentioning here that recently high‑level talks were held in Islamabad as foreign ministers from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Egypt met to discuss urgent regional matters, especially efforts to end the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Iran.
The two‑day consultations, launched at the invitation of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, aim to build consensus among key regional partners on diplomatic steps that could help de‑escalate the Gulf crisis.
