Zendaya’s HBO series, Euphoria, is expected to make its return after a lengthy break. The actress has recently shared her thoughts on the show, suggesting that this might be the final season.
On April 6, Zendaya appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show” to promote “The Drama” along with her various other projects.
During the conversation, host Drew Barrymore brought up “Euphoria” and asked whether the forthcoming third season would mark the conclusion of the HBO drama series.
Zendaya replied, “I think so, yeah.” Barrymore then remarked, “I never want to ask questions like that, because it’s not my business, and yet, is this to be enjoyed knowing [it will end]?”
Following the news of the Euphoria new season, Zendaya affirmed, “Yes, I think so,” and added, “That closure is coming.”
To date, HBO has neither confirmed nor denied that “Euphoria” will conclude after its third season.
HBO announces season three of Euphoria
The anticipation for season three of “Euphoria” has been significant, given that it has been four years since the release of the second season. HBO announced in December 2025 that the show would finally return on April 12. Subsequently, the network unveiled full-length trailers in March, following a series of teasers.
As reported by Variety, this season will include a time jump, providing insight into the characters as they navigate adulthood.
Alongside Zendaya, the cast features Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Colman Domingo, and others.
As the initial two seasons took place in a high school setting, the third season will transition the characters into adulthood through a time jump.
The official logline adopts a distinctly more contemplative tone: “A group of childhood friends grapple with the value of faith, the potential for redemption, and the issue of evil.”
Imagined, scripted, and directed by Sam Levinson, Euphoria has emerged as one of HBO’s most discussed series since its premiere.
