Sweden announces funded scholarship at Lund University

Sweden Scholarship

Sweden has once again invited a funded scholarship at Lund University.

Sweden will host an international summer school on digital human rights this June, offering fully funded opportunities for students and professionals from around the world.

The program, organised by the Raoul Wallenberg Institute for Human Rights, will take place at Lund University from June 22 to 26, 2026, in Lund.

The five-day Summer School in Digital Human Rights aims to provide participants with in-depth knowledge of pressing issues in the digital age, including privacy, freedom of expression online, AI regulation, cybercrime, electoral interference, and business responsibility in digital environments.

The program is fully funded and includes six nights of free accommodation for international participants.

Limited travel grants are also available, and visa support will be provided through invitation letters.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from leading global experts and build international networks in the field of human rights.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, politics, or international relations, or have at least two years of relevant professional experience.

Knowledge of human rights or public international law is required, and strong English proficiency is essential. The program is open to applicants from all countries.

Interested candidates are required to submit a statement of interest, an updated CV, and academic certificates if applicable.

Additional documents and further travel charges will be required for those applying for travel grants. The application deadline is April 15, 2026.

This summer school provides a unique chance to study at a top European university, gain expertise in digital human rights, and enhance both academic and professional profiles while experiencing life in Sweden.
