Guo Jiakun, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said at a press briefing on Monday that Beijing is worried over the latest news that the United States has seized an Iranian-flagged cargo ship. The Spokesperson called it forced detention.
The spokesperson further said, “We hope parties concerned will act in a responsible manner to abide by the ceasefire agreement, necessary conditions that would stabilise the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.”
The Washington actions have prompted a reply from the Iranian army, and it is reported that they launched an attack on the US ships.
