Pakistan have finalised the shortlist for the third and final Test against England to 12 players. 3 of them if selected to play in the match will be debuting.

Babar Azam-led Pakistan are expected to feature 23-year-old Karachi-born wicketkeeper-batter Ghazi Ghouri in the playing 11, reports said. Ghouri will make his debut for Pakistan in Test cricket, if selected.

Meanwhile, 29-year-old all-rounder Muhammad Imran Randhawa from Khanewal is also a strong candidate to make his Test debut at Edgbaston.

Randhawa has played 58 first-class games, with 2255 runs, he bats with his right hand, including two 200+ runs centuries.

He has also impressed with the ball having taken 110 wickets as a right-arm medium-fast bowler.

According to sources, Razaullah could also get his first Test cap if Pakistan choose to use four specialist fast bowlers in the final Test of the series.

The Mardan-born right-arm pacer made his first-class debut for Peshawar in 2025 and has 30 wickets to his name in 8 First Class matches.

But Pakistan may turn to a spinner if the conditions and the pitch at Edgbaston are of a different nature.

If so, then left-hand spinner Arafat Minhas (21) of Multan may get the chance to make his debut in Tests.

Minhas already has international experience, having faced 3 ODI and 4 T20 international matches for Pakistan.

The 12 players who were shortlisted for the third and final Test against England at Edgbaston Cricket Ground are Saim Ayub, Azan Awais, Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam (Captain), Shan Masood, Saud Shakeel, Ghazi Ghouri (Wicketkeeper), Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Ali, Muhammad Imran Randhawa, Arafat Minhas and Razaullah.

The team to be released for Pakistan will be decided by the Pakistan team management based on pitch and match conditions.

There is going to be a lot of competition between pace and spin, and either Razaullah or Arafat Minhas will be vying for the remaining place in the team.
