Candidate registrations have been opened by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for the second batch of the Chief Minister IT Internship program.
The aim of the initiative is to strengthen the IT industry. The initiative connects skill graduates with leading IT companies.
This will help foster a job ready digital workforce across the province.
Applications from eligible graduates are now accepted by the program. The internships are structured, provide hands-on experience and it will bridge the gap between industry and academia.
The candidates who are selected will then be placed in leading IT firms. In these firms they will be able to gain on-site practical experience, build strong professional portfolios and enhance their technical capabilities.
The internship will span a duration of five months and will offer a monthly stipend of Rs50000.

“The CM IT Internship Program reflects our commitment to empowering youth through meaningful opportunities that align with industry needs. By connecting talented graduates with leading IT companies, we are not only enhancing employability but also contributing to the growth of Punjab’s digital economy,” PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf.
What’s the eligibility?
To be an eligible applicant, the applicant must hold a degree in Computer Science, IT or a relevant field. It should also be completed within the last four years. The candidates are also required to hold a Punjab domicile and a valid CNIC.
It is also very important to submit an HEC-attested degree. The stipend will also be paid on a monthly performance evaluation.
