The United Nations (UN) has invited a paid internship programme for the year 2026 in the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) in Rome, Italy.

The internship programme announced by the UN has a duration of three to 11 months.

The candidates who are willing to apply for the internship can apply globally from anywhere, as the location for the internship is worldwide (including the Rome headquarters).

Candidates would not have to work freely, as it is a paid internship.

Each of the internees will be given a monthly stipend of $700=PKR194,822.11, with complete coverage of medical service-related conditions.

The last date to apply for the internship programme is August 26, 2026.

Who is eligible for UN FAO paid internship 2026?

The applicant to apply for the programme must be a resident of an FAO member country.

Pakistan has been a member of the UN FAO since September 7, 1947.

So it is a great opportunity for the Pakistani residents.

Further, the eligibility conditions mention that the applicant must be currently enrolled in the following programmes: Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD.

The age limit lies between 21 and 30.

Candidates must have a working knowledge of these languages: English, French or Spanish.

The degree of the applicant must be registered in the World Higher Education Database (WHED).
