Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has had a very busy schedule lately as he has made many foreign trips.
According to reports, the prime minister made 34 visits between March 2024 and October 2025. On the other hand, President Zardari made only three trips, two visits to China and one to Turkmenistan.

During this period, PM Shehbaz visited Saudi Arabia the most with eight trips.
The PM also made two official visits each to China, the United States, and Egypt, reflecting Pakistan’s balanced diplomatic engagement across key global partners.
He represented Pakistan at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) twice, where he highlighted Pakistan’s stance on climate change, regional peace, and economic reforms.
Beyond the major powers, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s travels included visits to Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Qatar, and Azerbaijan (Baku), focusing on energy collaboration, trade expansion, and regional connectivity.
He also visited Turkiye, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom, reaffirming Pakistan’s diplomatic and economic ties with both regional allies and Western partners.
Where is PM Shehbaz Sharif now?
Currently, the prime minister is in Islamabad.
On October 25th, he addressed the Balochistan Workshop in Islamabad.
“I would like to mention in all humility that in Lahore, all four chief ministers were gathered together, along with their finance ministers. Three days’ marathon session went on without a break, of course, when night fell, we would go for a few hours’ rest and then gather the next morning again.”
