David Warner, captain of Karachi Kings, gave a bashing response to a fan who urged him to quit the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and return to the Indian Premier League (IPL) following his team’s early exit from PSL 11.

Taking to Instagram after the campaign concluded, Warner reflected on the season with a mix of pride and realism. He lauded his team’s “passion, resilience, and attitude” despite the disappointing outcome, noting that the challenges of franchise cricket are often underestimated by outsiders.

The former Australian captain also extended gratitude to fans for their “unwavering support” and acknowledged PSL organisers, as well as security forces and police, for ensuring a smooth and secure tournament.

Ending his message on a lighter note, Warner suggested that future editions could incorporate recreational activities such as padel or golf, while expressing optimism about returning to packed stadiums next season.

However, his post drew a reaction from a fan who suggested he should leave the PSL and rejoin the IPL, claiming it would be a better fit.

Responding briefly but decisively, Warner schooled the Indian fan, stating, “No need for that now.”
