Army Rocket Force Command successfully conducts Fateh-II missile test

The Army Rocket Force Command carried out a successful training launch of the indigenously developed Fateh-II missile system today, on Tuesday. The missile is equipped with modern avionics and advanced navigation systems.

According to the  Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the purpose of the launch was to train troops and test technical performance. Additionally, to evaluate different parts of the system for better accuracy and survivability.

The Fateh-II missile can hit targets at medium range with high speed and accuracy. Its modern guidance system allows it to perform well even in changing battlefield conditions.

The test was also aimed at assessing the practical skills and research abilities of the soldiers. This is along with the technical strength of the missile system.

The launch was seen by senior officers from the Strategic Plans Division, Army Rocket Force Command, and Pakistan Army.

Additionally, it was also seen by scientists and engineers from strategic organisations. They appreciated the successful test of the Fateh missile.

President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Chief of Defence Forces and the Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and other service chiefs praised the team for their hard work, skill, and dedication.

This successful test shows that Pakistan’s defence system is modern and capable of responding effectively to any threat.

Pakistan navy successfully launched indigenous

On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the Inter-Services Public Relations declared that the Pakistan Navy had successfully carried out a live demonstration.

It was of firing the Taimoor Air-Launched Cruise Missile, which is an indigenously developed anti-ship weapon system.

This was a strong display of precision strike capability and operational readiness.

The Air-Launched Cruise Missile performed its task with a high degree of precision, confirming the capability of the Pakistan Navy to detect, monitor, attack and effectively counter sea-based threats of the enemy at long distances.
