Putin doesn’t want Iran to obtain nuclear weapons: Trump

Putin No nuclear weapons for Iran says Trump

The United States (US) President Donald Trump has made a series of strong statements regarding Iran, claiming that the country has suffered major military and economic setbacks.

Speaking on the issue, Trump said Iran “must not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons,” stressing that preventing Tehran from acquiring such capabilities remains a top priority.

He also claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not want Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, although he added that Moscow may still be interested in supporting Tehran in other ways.

Trump further stated that Iran’s ability to manufacture missiles has significantly weakened. Referring to recent tensions, he claimed that “all objectives” in actions against Iran had been achieved and alleged that up to 82% of Iran’s missile capabilities had been destroyed.

On the economic front, the US president painted a grim picture, saying the Iranian currency has lost its value and that the country’s economy is deteriorating rapidly.

His remarks come amid heightened geopolitical tensions in the region, with ongoing concerns over Iran’s nuclear programme, missile capabilities, and its broader economic stability.
