In Punjab the Health and Population Department has announced an internship program of the Directorate of Drugs Control. The internship is specifically for PharmD students. This includes PharmD graduates and post-graduates from public sector universities across Punjab.
Who is allowed to apply?
As mentioned before the PharmD students and graduates are allowed to apply for this internship:
- The students who are in their final semester or are waiting for their results.
- Graduates from PharmD who have completed the degree in the last two years.
- Students who have done an MPhil/Master’s degree in PharmD in the last two years.
How can students apply?
Students who want to apply are required to:
- Students have to register online through the official portal
- It is necessary for the students to complete their profiles and fill out all the information needed.
- They will also have to upload all their relevant documents.
The applications can only be given online. No applications other than online will be accepted.
Last date to apply:
The most important date regarding this internship is May 12, 2026. The submissions will close on May 12, 2026 at 12:00 midnight sharp. If a student has made a profile but not submitted the application by this time their application will not be considered.

In another development, recently the Punjab University (PU) also launched an online internship programme in partnership with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
The purpose of the online internship programme is to provide the students with international experience.
They will be able to engage in online learning and improve their professional competencies.
