The Lahore High Court (LHC) has approved a large-scale transfer of civil judges across Punjab.
A large number of civil judges have been transferred across Punjab following the approval of Chief Justice of LHC, Alia Neelam, according to an official notification.
The order covers 94 judges posted in different districts, including Lahore, and directs them to assume charge of their new assignments by May 11.
Officials said the transfers are part of routine administrative changes aimed at improving the functioning of the judicial system across the province.
Several judges have been moved from Lahore to other cities.
These include Gulzam Aslam to Multan, Rukhsana Amin to Rawalpindi, and Kiran Nishat and Wajah Khawaj to Gujranwala.
Others transferred from Lahore include Najam Al-Saqib to Sialkot, Nadeem Ahmed to Bahawalpur, and Nosheen Zartaj to Gujar Khan.

Additional postings from Lahore include Aleem Zia to Rajanpur, Sadaqat Ali Khan to Melsi, Muhammad Naeem to Alipur, and Imran Raza Jafri to Liaquatpur.
Madiha Zulfiqar has been posted to Rajanpur, while Muhammad Asad Sajid has been transferred to Yazman and Zaheer Ahmed to Jampur.
Further changes include Nuzhat Jabeen moving to Gujranwala, Ahmed Nadeem Khan to Dera Ghazi Khan, Muhammad Ashfaq to Ferozwala, and both Asad Imran and Muhammad Sohail Anjum to Mian Channu.
At the same time, a number of judges have been posted to Lahore from other districts.
These include Nazia Ali and Abida Zafar from Multan, Muhammad Shoaib Sarfraz from Alipur, and Muhammad Abdul Sattar from Liaquatpur.
Judges transferred to Lahore also include Imtiaz Hussain and Ahsan Raza from Rawalpindi, Muzammil Hussain from Melsi, and Muhammad Azhar Farid from Bahawalpur.
Others include Ahsan Safdar from Gujar Khan, Muhammad Kashif Pasha from Narowal, Abid Hussain from Yazman, and Muhammad Ali Amjad from Gujranwala.
Humaira Nawaz Khan has been moved from Bahawalpur to Lahore, while Saleem Zahid Saleem has been transferred from Faisalabad.
Authorities say the reshuffle is intended to strengthen judicial administration and ensure better service delivery across courts in the province.
