Provincial Minister for Information, Azma Bokhari, posted a video on the social media platform X, highlighting the newly renovated appearance of Lahore’s historic Ichhra Bazaar, while appreciating the development vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
She further said that the citizens of Punjab have valid reasons to take pride in their Chief Minister, ‘indeed, her achievements are self-evident.’
In her remarks, Azma Bokhari expressed that Maryam Nawaz rightfully deserves this recognition, as she has significantly transformed the province in a brief timeframe.
Expressing her joy over the appealing new look of Ichhra Bazaar, she stated, “MashaAllah! The new look of Ichhra Bazaar inspires me to visit it myself.”
The Provincial Minister further noted that beautification initiatives are not only underway in Lahore but are also advancing swiftly across all cities in Punjab, following the special directives of the Chief Minister.
She cited examples such as Lahore’s Anarkali Bazaar, Faisalabad’s Ghanta Ghar Bazaar, and Rawalpindi’s Raja Bazaar, stating that these historic sites have now become visually striking, providing facilities that meet international standards for the public.
Azma Bokhari reaffirmed that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision aims to enhance the beauty, modernity, and amenities of every city in Punjab to match those of Lahore.
CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz to represent Punjab at World Urban Forum
The Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is expected to represent the province during a three-day visit to the World Urban Forum in Baku.
Punjab CM will be leaving for Baku today to participate in the World Urban Forum.
According to her post on X, Maryam Nawaz said, “It will be a singular honour to present Punjab’s flagship sustainable urban affordable housing initiative, ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar,’ at the Pakistan Pavilion at the World Urban Forum in Baku.”
