In the first innings of the second Test against Pakistan, the Bangladesh team was bowled out for 278 runs. According to details, the second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh is being played in Sylhet. Pakistan captain Shan Masood won the toss and opted to field first.
Bangladesh opened their innings with Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Tanzid Hasan, but their start was poor as opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy was dismissed by Pakistan’s Mohammad Abbas on the second ball.
Liton Das was the standout batsman for Bangladesh, scoring 126 runs, while Tanzid Hasan made 26, Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 29, Mominul Haque contributed 22, and Mushfiqur Rahim added 23 runs.
For Pakistan, Khurram Shahzad scored 4 runs, Mohammad Abbas scored 3, Hasan Ali scored 2, and Sajid Khan scored 1.
It should be noted that the national team includes Azan Awais, Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Abdullah Fazal, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Agha, Khurram Shahzad, Sajid Khan, Hasan Ali, and Mohammad Abbas. Imam-ul-Haq, Shaheen Afridi, and Noman Ali have not been included in the squad for today’s match.
For Pakistan, Khurram Shahzad took 4 wickets, Mohammad Abbas took 3, Hasan Ali took 2, and Sajid Khan took 1 wicket.
Pakistan scored 21 runs without loss in the first innings. At the end of the first day of the Test match, Pakistan’s Azan Owais was unbeaten on 13 runs, while Abdullah Fazal was on 8.
For the second Test, three changes have been made in the Pakistan team. Babar Azam, Khurram Shahzad, and Sajid Khan have been included in the squad in place of Imam-ul-Haq, Shaheen Afridi, and Noman Ali.
It should be noted that Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 104 runs in the first Test match. Chasing a target of 268 runs, the Pakistan team faced serious difficulties in the second innings and were bowled out for 163 runs. Bangladesh now leads the two-match Test series 1–0.
