Hayat Khan, the elder brother of BLA cadre SM handle Bahot, was killed on Saturday in what is being described as an intense internal clash within factions of the Balochistan Liberation Army, reportedly linked to a struggle over control and influence.
According to the sources, Hayat Khan, the elder brother of BLA cadre SM, handle Bahot, was killed by the Bashir Zeb Group of BLA in a severe internal fight over control and influence.
This is after BRA-driven elements within BLA kidnapped the Gwadar University Vice Chancellor today on the behest of Bahot, challenging Bashir Zeb’s authority. Kidnapping of VC is linked to his wife’s side tribal feud with Bahot and Hayat Khan, and is more of a personal matter.
However, this kidnapping was not sanctioned by Bashir Zeb, and therefore, an immediate brutal lesson was considered necessary by him. More target killings and shoot-down orders are expected in the coming days by the fighting groups and factions
