Sharjeel Memon new public transport route

Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced that a new route will be launched for peoples bus service in Hyderabad after Eidul Azha.

The media report confirmed that Sharjeel Memon said that the new route of peoples bus service will operate from Latifabad to Hyder Chowk. Sharjeel Memon also confirmed, while speaking in the Provincial Assembly, that several routes in Karachi are not operational due to a shortage of buses in the port city.

Memon also stated that the new routes in Karachi will be operational after the availability of new buses. He also said that the buses will only stop at designated stops.  The minister also said that people usually tried to stop buses at unapproved stops, which resulted in fights.

The development work is underway in Karachi, the minister added.

Sharjeel Inam Memon has announced that the provincial government has approved the purchase of 500 new electric buses to improve public transport services.

Speaking in Karachi, he said the buses will be acquired under a public-private partnership model to modernise the public transport system across the province.
