Pakistan successfully completes 34 day Hajj flight operation

Pakistan has successfully completed its 34 day Hajj flight operation, according to the reports today. With this operation, thousands of pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2026.

The operation was carried out under the government Hajj scheme and was described by officials as a major administrative success.

Pakistan Hajj 2026 flights

Hajj flights began on April 18. These flights continued for 34 days before concluding with the final flight.

According to officials, the last Hajj flight departed from Lahore and carried around 290 pilgrims to Jeddah. With this flight, the transportation of all Pakistani pilgrims to Saudi Arabia was completed.

A total of more than 119,000 pilgrims were transported through 468 flights. These included 186 flights to Madinah and 282 flights to Jeddah.

The Hajj operation was conducted from eight major cities across Pakistan, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Sukkur.

Officials said that Islamabad handled the highest number of flights. In addition to this, Karachi and Lahore also remained major departure centres.

Authorities credited the successful operation to timely planning, better coordination, and improved management. They said that this year’s Hajj operation was more organised than previous years.

Important instructions issued for Pakistani Hajj pilgrims

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has issued important instructions for Pakistani pilgrims travelling for Hajj.

The ministry has also advised the pilgrims to keep all important items and documents with them during the journey to avoid any problems while performing Hajj.

According to the officials, pilgrims should always carry their Nusuk card, Pakistani Hajj card, and identification band. These are some of the items that are most important for identification, accommodation, and travel matters.

The ministry also said that pilgrims will receive free Saudi SIM cards after arriving in Saudi Arabia so they can stay in contact with their families.
