Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Housing Dr Amjad Ali has issued a legal notice to PTI social media activist Shakeel Sheikh over allegations of defaming his character.

According to a statement shared on Dr Amjad Ali’s social media account, an individual claiming to be a PTI worker and a close associate of former Governor Shah Farman allegedly misused artificial intelligence technology to spread baseless accusations against him through fabricated videos.

He further said that legal action has been initiated against those responsible for the fabricated allegations, and a defamation case will soon be filed in court to ensure that those spreading false information are dealt with according to the law.

Sohail Afridi instructed all provincial secretaries to send legal notices within three days to media outlets reporting on corruption.

In the video, he further said that any government official who fails to take legal action against media houses will face action on the fourth day.
