Nawaz Sharif condemns Chaman Blast

Former Prime Minister and President Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz (PMLN), Nawaz Sharif, strongly condemned the deadly blast in Chaman and called the attack on innocent people in Balochistan an attack on the entire nation.

In a message shared on X, he said the cowardly attack showed the brutality of terrorism and added that the nation’s determination against terrorism remained strong.

Nawaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and said he stood with the families of the victims in this difficult time. He also prayed for the quick recovery of those injured in the blast.

He further prayed that Allah may raise the ranks of the martyrs and give patience and strength to the grieving families.

His statement came after a deadly explosion in Chaman that drew strong condemnation from political leaders and the public across the country.

Earlier, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Quetta and held a high-level meeting after the blast.

The meeting was attended by senior officials of the Balochistan Police, including the Inspector General of Balochistan Police, as well as other senior law enforcement officers.

Mohsin Naqvi said that the federal government stands fully with the Balochistan government in this difficult and tragic time.

He said that terrorists have shown extreme brutality by targeting innocent civilians, but the great sacrifices of the martyrs will always be remembered, and their blood will not go in vain.
