Pakistan Armed Forces extend Eidul Azha greetings

Pakistan’s armed forces extended Eidul Azha greetings to the nation and paid tribute to martyrs, saying they remain committed to defending the country’s sovereignty and supporting the people for lasting peace and stability.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu conveyed Eidul Azha greetings to the people of Pakistan.

The ISPR said the armed forces also honoured the sacrifices of citizens, martyrs, law enforcement personnel and all those working to protect the country.

The military’s media wing said the armed forces prayed for lasting peace, national unity and stability.

The ISPR said Eidul Azha reflects sacrifice, faith and unity, and added that the armed forces remain firm in their duty to defend Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

It added that the armed forces stand with the nation for peace and stability.

The military also paid tribute to the families of martyrs and said their sacrifices continue to strengthen the country.

On the occasion of Eid ul Azha 2026, the top leadership of Pakistan has extended greetings to the people of Pakistan.

The Chief of Defence Forces and the Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu sent their best wishes to the nation.

They said that they pray for peace, prosperity, and unity in the country. Further, they paid tribute to the resilience of the Pakistani people.
