Mohsin Naqvi has extended Eidul Azha greetings to Muslims in Pakistan and around the world, saying the festival teaches the values of sacrifice, obedience, compassion and devotion to Allah.
In his Eid message, the interior minister said Eidul Azha reflects the faith and sacrifice shown by Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismail (AS). He added that the occasion reminds people to rise above personal wishes and follow the will of Allah.
Mohsin Naqvi also paid tribute to Pakistan’s martyrs and their families, saying those who sacrificed their lives for the country are true heroes whose services can never be forgotten.
He praised security personnel for spending Eid away from their families while protecting the nation, calling their dedication a symbol of commitment and duty.
The interior minister also prayed for peace, stability and prosperity for Pakistan and the Muslim world on the occasion of Eidul Azha.

Earlier, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Zhob district in Balochistan on Eidul Azha to celebrate the occasion with frontline troops deployed along Pakistan’s western border.
The visit began with Eid prayers and special prayers for the country’s peace, stability and prosperity, as well as for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Pakistan.
Field Marshal Asim Munir extended Eid greetings to officers and soldiers and praised their courage, dedication and operational readiness in the fight against terrorism.
