Sannia Ashfaq has addressed questions she received during Eid about her ex-husband contacting their children.
In a story on Instagram, Sannia said that Imad Wasim did not contact the children on Eid.
She said, “There was no message, no phone call, and no effort to ask if they were happy, healthy, or even if they had new clothes for Eid. Sadly, their grandparents did not wish their grandchildren Eid Mubarak either.”
She added that he is “busy with his new life, while his own children have been completely forgotten.”
“I have carried every responsibility on my own through every school run, every illness, every milestone, every celebration, and every tear”, she said.
Imad married Nyla Raja in February 2026. The news came less than two months after the cricketer said he had filed for divorce from his first wife.
“I went through one of the hardest chapters of my life after a marriage that did not work. Even so, that chapter gave me the greatest blessings of my life, my children. I love them beyond words, and that love will never change,” he wrote in a lengthy note shared to his Instagram page.
At the time, Sannia said that there was an involvement of a “third party”.
She said, “What ultimately ended this marriage was the involvement of a third party, whose intention was to marry my husband, which became the final blow to an already struggling union.”
Imad and Sannia have three children, and they both got married in 2019. His youngest son was born five months before their divorce.
