The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (NCERT) has initiated a six-week Cybersecurity Internship Program to groom a talented workforce to boost Pakistan’s cyber security capabilities.
Students in educational institutions and graduates are eligible for the programme, which is open for online applications until June 16.
The internship provides hands-on experience in the following Cybersecurity fields: Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Governance and Compliance, Digital Forensics, Software Testing, and Artificial Intelligence Development.
Participants will be able to work with cyber security experts and put what they’ve learned into practice after the internship.
The selected interns will also get expert mentorship and guidance where they will get an opportunity to gain the technical skills and knowledge within the industry which is growing at a fast pace.
In the meantime, Army Museum Lahore has declared the Summer Internship Programme (SIP) 2026 for university and college students from all over Pakistan.
The programme aims to give young people important work experience in the summer period when school is not in session and to help them to build their skills and develop their character.
The selected interns shall have the opportunities to work with professionals and participate in different activities of the department to improve communication, team work, leadership and organisational Skill.
The programme aims to close the gap between theory and practice by engaging participants in assignments and projects, based on actual work-place responsibilities.
Interns will also be exposed to the history of Pakistan, its culture and museums.
The programme gives exposure to various fields of research, documentation, public engagement, management and preservation of historical artifacts, thus giving the participants a unique learning experience in the field, as well as in the classroom.
