PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar has submitted his response to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) in connection with allegations of harassment and death threats made by actress Momina Iqbal, rejecting the accusations as fabricated and without merit.
In his statement, Chadhar said he became acquainted with Momina Iqbal in 2020 and that their relationship soon grew close. He claimed that they travelled together on several local and international trips, with all expenses allegedly paid by him.
The MPA further alleged that Momina Iqbal and her family concealed information regarding her previous marriage and divorce. According to Chadhar, he decided against marrying her after discovering those details.
He stated that their relationship ended in August 2025. Chadhar also accused Momina Iqbal’s sister, Rimsha Iqbal, of receiving AUD 10,000 through blackmail and claimed he had additionally paid AUD 13,000 toward her university tuition fees. He further asserted that a total of Rs8.3 million had been transferred to Momina Iqbal on various occasions.
According to the statement, Chadhar alleged that several photographs and videos were stored on Momina Iqbal’s mobile phone and that certain individuals had threatened to release the material publicly. He maintained that he had requested both Momina and her sister not to share the content. Chadhar also stated that Momina was fully aware that he was married and claimed that call data records could substantiate his position.
