The return of Pakistani pilgrims after completing Hajj is continuing smoothly as more than 34,000 pilgrims have already reached home.
Officials said the post-Hajj repatriation process is ongoing, and a large number of pilgrims are still in Saudi Arabia. According to figures, around 84,791 Pakistani pilgrims remain in the Kingdom, and their return will continue in phases until June 30.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed that flight operations are running according to schedule, and no major disruption has been reported so far.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf is also returning to Pakistan today after completing his official duties in Saudi Arabia during the Hajj operation. In addition, 250 members of the Hajj support staff have already come back after finishing their responsibilities.
Authorities have introduced special arrangements at airports and pilgrim accommodations to manage the large flow of returning pilgrims. Officials said luggage check-in is being completed at the places of stay to make travel easier and reduce waiting time at airports.
Pilgrims have been advised to follow their flight schedules carefully and prepare their luggage in advance. The administration has set a system where baggage is processed 24 to 48 hours before departure, helping ensure a smooth and organised return.
Officials also shared that more than 15,000 Pakistani pilgrims were able to visit Riyaz-ul-Jannah in Madinah during the post-Hajj arrangements, which is considered a significant spiritual opportunity for many.
The ministry said the repatriation process will continue in stages until the end of June, as airlines operate special Hajj flights to bring all pilgrims back safely and in an orderly manner.
