Samsung has launched the stable One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy F15, which debuted in 2024 with One UI 6.
The update comes with firmware version E156BXXUADZE7, requires about 2.5GB to download, and updates the Android security patch level on the Galaxy F15 to May 5, 2026.
One UI 8.5 introduces UI elements featuring a transparent blur effect, a floating design for bottom bars in social apps, direct voicemail access, partial screen recording, Apple AirDrop compatibility, and more.
Samsung completed the stable rollout of One UI 8.5 to all 44 officially confirmed Galaxy devices in just over a month, starting with the Galaxy S25 series on May 6 and concluding with the Galaxy A15, marking one of the fastest comprehensive rollouts in recent times.
In addition to the 44 confirmed devices, Samsung has also released One UI 8.5 for 10 previously unconfirmed devices, including the Galaxy A06, M56, M55, M55s, M16, M06, F56, F55, F54, F06, and XCover 7 Pro, with 8 more devices potentially on the way.
The complete list of 44 confirmed devices includes the Galaxy S25 through S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7 through Z Fold 5 series, Galaxy Tab S11 through Tab S9 series, and Galaxy A through A17/A16/A15 budget models.
Devices not included in this list, such as the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and most models from 2022, will not receive One UI 8.5, as Samsung has fulfilled their OS update commitments with One UI 8.0.
