Recently, the newest Samsung smartphones to receive One UI 8.5 are the Galaxy M15 and Galaxy Xcover7.

The Galaxy M15 is getting the update in Korea, with firmware version M156SKSU8DZE4, which includes the May 2026 security patch.

Meanwhile, the Xcover7 is being updated in Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, identified by G556BXXUFEZEB.

In both instances, the rollouts are expected to expand to more markets and regions in the upcoming days and weeks.

If you have either device, you can check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Samsung rolls out One UI 8.5 to older phones and tablets

Samsung has now effectively completed the One UI 8.5 rollout, with another group of Galaxy phones and tablets added to the lineup in recent days.

This latest batch is especially significant as it reflects Samsung’s surprisingly extensive strategy for One UI 8.5.

Instead of restricting the update to high-end Galaxy devices, the company has broadened it to include a wide range of budget-friendly A-series, M-series, and F-series smartphones.

Notably, the Galaxy A06 5G stands out as one of the biggest beneficiaries.

As one of Samsung’s most economical smartphones, it now enjoys many of the same visual enhancements and performance upgrades found in much pricier Galaxy models.

By introducing One UI 8.5 to devices like the Galaxy A06 5G, Galaxy A15 5G, Galaxy M16, and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024), Samsung has made sure that millions of everyday users, many of whom own some of the company’s most affordable devices, can experience the latest software version without needing to purchase a new phone.
