To motivate people, a gym in China is offering a Porsche to anyone who can lose 50 kg.
The challenge is to lose this much weight in three months.
Some medical experts have warned that such extreme weight loss could have serious health implications. Losing 50kg in three months would require shedding more than 0.5kg per day, a pace considered unsafe by doctors and fitness professionals.
But before all this and to participate in this, the person has to pay 10,000-yuan (around Rs 4 Lac) registration fee, which covers meals and shared accommodation during the program.
A coach surnamed Wang confirmed that the contest is genuine and already underway.
Surprisingly, about seven or eight have already joined this program and about 30 seats are available.
Price of Porsche
The Porsche which is being offered as a reward is a used 2020 Panamera owned by the gym’s founder, not a brand-new model.
