Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud today. During the telephonic conversation, Mohammed bin Salman congratulated PM Shehbaz on the signing of the Islamabad MoU.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also praised Pakistan’s civil and military leadership for making the deal between the US and Iran successful.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud praised PM Shehbaz and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their significant role as mediators to end the conflict between the US and Iran.
During a phone call, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and PM Shehbaz Sharif agreed to the smooth continuation of dialogue and diplomacy between the US and Iran.
Both leaders stressed the need to remain alert to tackle any distraction which can potentially sabotage the peace deal between the US and Iran.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the strong and friendly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He said both countries are ready to finalise and sign a comprehensive economic package under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
He also invited the Crown Prince to visit Pakistan at a time convenient for him. On the occasion, the Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes and respects for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
Both leaders promised to stay in contact and continue peace efforts in the coming days.
