500 more FC personnel deployed in AJK

The law-and-order situation in Azad Kashmir is maintained. However, the authorities have decided to deploy more than 500 FC personnel in AJK.

According to the details, the deployment of 500 FC personnel is to deal with the Joint Awami Action Committee’s (JAAC) disruptive elements.

It is pertinent to mention that the Pakistan Armed Forces and other state institutions are fully prepared to tackle internal and external troublemakers.

At the same time, Pakistan’s civil and military leadership is prepared to ensure peace and stability in the region.

Earlier, A sedition case was registered against Khawaja Mehran, a central member of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), over baseless allegations against Pakistan’s Armed Forces.

A case has been registered under sedition charges against Khawaja Mehran, a member of the banned JAAC, for allegedly attempting to create a rift within the Pakistan Armed Forces in line with an Indian agenda.

According to sources, Khawaja Mehran targeted the Pakistan Army in his speech and unnecessarily criticised national institutions. Following this, the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government took immediate action and registered a sedition case against him.
