Pakistan to host two major tennis events soon
Earlier, it was announced that Pakistan is set to host two ITF W15 women’s tournaments in Islamabad from October 5, 2026, in a significant step towards promoting women’s tennis and strengthening preparations for the upcoming Billie Jean King Cup.
The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) revealed the prize money of both the tournaments as $15,000 each.
It will be the first time Pakistan’s home soil will be witnessing two back-to-back ITF Women’s Futures events giving local players a rare chance to play at an international level on home turf.
The tournaments will allow Pakistani players to receive international ranking points and also provide them with a competitive experience without having to move overseas for the tournament.
