Security forces foil four drone attacks in Balochistan conducted by Afghan Taliban regime

Afghan drone attacks Balochistan, drone attacks balochistan

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that four drone attacks conducted by the Afghan Taliban have been neutralised successfully by the security forces in Balochistan.

The officials of the ISPR stated that the forces have intercepted and destroyed four drones that they said crossed into Balochistan from Afghanistan on June 30.

In a statement, the military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said Pakistan’s air defence system detected the drones soon after they entered its airspace and neutralised them using what it described as advanced countermeasures.

The ISPR alleged that the drones had been launched from across the border and accused the Afghan Taliban government of carrying out the incursions.

It also claimed the drone flights were intended to mislead the Afghan public and criticised the Taliban administration, urging it to stop what Pakistan described as support for militant groups and instead adhere to the principle of peaceful coexistence.

The military warned that any future cross-border provocation would receive what it called a “swift, decisive and forceful” response under its military operation, “Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq”.

The ISPR said Pakistan’s armed forces remained fully prepared to defend the country’s territory and sovereignty against any external threat.
