Punjab govt announces regulatory framework for tuition centre

Punjab government has decided to introduce a regulatory framework for tuition centres across the province. The provincial government also decided to bring amendments to the existing private education laws, the private media outlet reported on July 1st.

According to the details, the Punjab government will review the 1984 Private Educational Institutions Ordinance and bring amendments to it as the 41-year-old law lacks some requirements in today’s modern world.

Registration for the tuition centres, building safety inspections, and fire safety requirements will be necessary after the amendments to the 1984 Private Educational Institutions Ordinance.

The official authorities confirmed that the government will make every tuition centre a safe learning place for students.
