The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to 13 cricketers, allowing them to participate in the Global Super League 2026.
The players granted NOCs are Muhammad Haris, Shahab Khan, Muhammad Naeem, Abdullah Shafiq, Farhan Yousuf, Shamil Hussain, Mehran Mumtaz, Usman Khan, Ali Shabbir, along with four other cricketers, making a total of 13 players cleared for the tournament.
Separately, the PCB has also issued an NOC to Moaz Sadaqat to participate in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
On the other hand, Pakistan’s Test squad for the upcoming tour of the West Indies and England is likely to comprise 16 players.
Sources say the squad was initially expected to include 17 players, but the management is now likely to finalise a 16-member squad.
According to sources, one batter may be dropped to reduce the squad size. It is understood that Saud Shakeel is unlikely to be included in the squad for the West Indies tour, although there is a proposal to include him for the Three-Test series in England.
Sources further revealed that consultations are ongoing regarding the final composition of the 16-member squad, and an official announcement is expected soon.
