The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested a terrorist in Okara who is accused of spying for India’s intelligence agency, RAW.
According to the CTD, the suspect was arrested in Kohinoor City on Faisalabad Road, where he was allegedly planning to target sensitive installations.
The CTD said it recovered explosive materials and other items from the suspect’s possession, including explosives, a Prima card, detonators, electric wire, three batteries, and two mobile phones.
The suspect has been identified as Roz Ali Khan, a resident of Armar Miana, Peshawar, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the CTD, the suspect has been shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
It is worth mentioning here that India is attempting to divert attention from its domestic challenges by creating instability across the region, particularly in Pakistan.
A senior security official held an important briefing with media influencers a few days earlier, focusing on India’s regional policies and security situation.
According to security sources, the Indian leadership continues to ignore the “ground realities” and is pursuing policies that have increased instability in the region. They said that India is facing deep internal divisions driven by rising intolerance and religious extremism.
The sources stated that the ideology of Hindutva has distorted India’s secular identity and that the country’s expansionist ambitions are reflected in the concept of “Akhand Bharat.” They further said that India’s military has become a victim of the BJP’s violent and religious politics.
