Suzuki Alto prices ‘increase’
Previously, reports suggested that the price of the Suzuki Alto could increase after the federal budget proposals for the 2026-27 financial year.
The expected increase had been linked to new taxes and government charges that may affect small engine vehicles.
According to the reports, the proposed budget could increase the cost of locally assembled vehicles. This also includes the Suzuki Alto.
The Suzuki Alto has remained one of Pakistan’s most popular cars because it is affordable and fuel efficient. This car is also suitable for city driving. Any price increase is likely to affect many buyers.
Back in 2025, the Suzuki Alto remained Pakistan’s best selling car. It continued to lead the market in November of the past year.
According to industry data, Pak Suzuki sold 4,069 Alto units during the month. The 660cc hatchback remained the top choice for many buyers across the country.
Alto sales were even higher than the combined sales of some of its biggest competitors.
Indus Motor Company sold a total of 3,236 Toyota Corolla and Toyota Yaris cars in November. Honda Atlas sold 2,359 units of the Honda Civic and Honda City during the same month.
