The United States (US) President Donald Trump will attend the FIFA final in the stadium, White House confirmed on Friday.
According to the details, Donald Trump will attend the FIFA final in New York’s New Jersey stadium on Sunday. It is pertinent to mention that the FIFA final is between Spain and Argentina.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed on Friday during her press briefing that Donald Trump will attend the FIFA Final 2026 in a New Jersey stadium.
She said the president would attend the closing of a World Cup that became the most-watched, safest, and most successful in U.S. history.
However, she didn’t confirm Trump’s support for any football team.
She also confirmed that the US President will attend the FIFA reception ceremony in Trump Tower today.
Earlier, the FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, announced on June 23 that the US President, Donald Trump, will present the trophy to the winning team.
The FIFA final will be played on July 19 between Spain and Argentina.

Earlier, Dutch football referee Rob Dieperink died at the age of 38, the Dutch Football Association has confirmed. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
According to media reports, Dieperink had been selected to officiate at this year’s FIFA World Cup. However, FIFA removed him from the list of World Cup referees after he was arrested in the United Kingdom over allegations of sexually assaulting a young boy.
Following a police investigation, authorities found insufficient evidence to support the allegations. The case was subsequently dropped, and no further legal action was taken against him.
