The Pakistani cricket team has won the One-Day International (ODI) series against South Africa. The final match took place at the Iqbal Stadium on Saturday.
South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first, but struggled.
Captain Matthew Breetzke and Nqabayomzi Peter scored 16 each, while Tony de Zorzi made two runs, Robin Hermann made one run, Donovan Ferreira made seven, and Corbin Bosch made zero runs.
On Pakistan’s side, Abrar Ahmed took four wickets. He was also the man of the match. Quinton de Kock was the player of the series.
Pakistan chased the target comfortably, reaching 144 in 25.1 overs for the loss of three wickets.
Babar Azam made record during ODI match
During the last match, Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam also added another feather to his cap as he completed 15000 runs in international cricket.
The cricketer became the fifth Pakistani to amass the milestone. Former captain Inzamam leads the list of most international runs by Pakistan batters with 20,541 in 547 innings
