SWAT: A bomb exploded near the vehicle of Awami National Party (ANP) leader Mumtaz Ali Khan in Tehsil Matta, Swat, on Wednesday morning.
According to details, the explosion occurred near his car in the Shakardara area of Tehsil Matta.
Police said the ANP leader is safe, while his vehicle sustained minor damage.
According to DPO Swat, the bomb was planted along the side of the road, which exploded when the vehicle passed by.
Large number of police force reached the site of the incident and cordoned off the entire area. Police has started gathering evidence.
